As the drive clutch closes, the belt rides up to the largest diameter of the drive clutch and forces open the driven clutch.
With the belt running in the smallest diameter of the driven clutch, the speed being transferred to the transaxle is increased. The driven clutch is designed to sense varying loads (inclines, mud, etc.) and constantly adjusts the drive speed upward or downward, so the engine rpm remains constant at constant throttle position. Transaxle The transaxle is fully enclosed and runs in oil for reliability. Helical gears are used for quiet operation. Differential design reduces scuffing of the turf during turns because the inside wheels turn slower than the outside wheels (vehicles that have a solid axle shaft must skid the inside wheel when making a turn).

Upon startup, the heater's control module runs a self-diagnostic check for safety. Then, the blower begins to increase speed as fuel is fed into the burner. Once the combustion process has stabilized, the glow plug is switched off. The heater continues to run until the thermostat senses the temperature has reached the setting on the control dial.
The heater will then switch to the next lowest setting. The heater will return to the higher setting as the temperature drops below the setting on the control dial. If the heater switches itself off, it will automatically restart when the temperature drops below the setting on the control dial. If the heater's control module senses an incorrect air-intake volume, incorrect exhaust volume, incorrect fan speed, flame absence, flame loss, overheating, control dial failure, sensor failure, blower failure, glow plug failure, fuel pump failure, incorrect voltage, short-circuit or control module failure, the heater is immediately switched off and a fault code is recorded. When the heater is switched off, the green light goes off and fuel is no longer fed to the burner. The glow plug remains switched on for 30 seconds to clear the heater of combustible residue.
To prevent damage to the heater, the blower continues to run until the heater is cool. The dealer I bought from is Atlantic Tractor and the parts guy there acts like I'm annoying him when I ask about an accessary. The girl working there is just the opposite, she's nice and much more helpful. I'm trying to find the OEM voltmeter for the 2015 TX, a task which seems to be impossible. I hate the thought of even going back into the dealer an asking this guy about the voltmeter, it might ruin his day to have to look something up LOL. Looking on the internet takes hours and hours of stumbling around looking for something; however I did find Cab in closer frame online when Mr personality at Atlantic Tractor couldn't. Today I'm trying to call the Gator factory to get the part number for the voltmeter.
Cons. dealer support not so hot. I didn't want a 4x4 as they have roll bars which will cause me more harm than good. I have an old TS as well which has a lighter foot print- may be in part due to the tires. In some ways I like the TS better- rides a bit lower and less rough but appreciate the power of the tx - easier to take loads up a hilI.
I would suggest a softer gas pedal- really have to mash it and would like it to rev higher than it does. I love gators though and to me none of the other vehicles seem as driveable and useful. Owned for about 5 years. TS for about 15 years. Pros. no rollbar Cons.
