I bought the evolution 8 months ago. No special package, no extras.

At the time I had asked about the workbook and thought they quoted me a price of.around $100. I thought, ok.maybe later on I'll purchase it.

I just called the dealer to get a price on it. That thing is $349.00!!!!! Are you kidding me?!?!?!

Im pretty sure I gasped in the phone and then I asked him to repeat the price! Has anyone paid that much for it?

Is there really $300 worth of information in there? I had a bernina and that workbook was only $80. Just needed to vent.someone please throw some water on me so I can revive myself. I think I passed out. When I got my evolve which was was the top of line before yours, not only had I just bought it, but also most of the extra feet all at the same time. It was a huge dent in my pocket book. At that point I think there was a workbook, at maybe $80 or $100, I passed it by, as I was feeling about pretty much tapped out, money wise at that point.

What I was looking for more than how to use your overlocker info, (since I already had a video and the learning to use the machine classes) was more sort of neat ideas and projects (and mostly pictures) of using some of the combinations of overlocker stitches together, and also same of projects using some of the feet. Where I found a lot of that stuff, was actually in some other overlocker books, that actually had the same overlocker in them, just written by private parties instead. Also just all the magazine articles that were submitted to any sewing magazines too, with projects in them, just because all that stuff occurs also, each and everytime there is any new machine out anyplace. So if looking for inspiration, and like that, there are also all those other places too. But, the more expensive something is, then the more expensive everything else that has anything to do with it seems to get too. I think it is since they figure if you can afford the machine in the first place, then you can afford all else at any price too.

But, that is not always true at all either!
